Sleep is vital for restoring the body’s organs, such as the liver, gallbladder, spleen, stomach, and heart.

Poor sleep can lead to irritability, poor digestion, low energy, and a decline in mental clarity.

I learned this the hard way. During a period of constant overtime and irregular sleep, I felt perpetually drained.

My plans to read and exercise fell by the wayside, and even small tasks left me exhausted.
